Westport in County Mayo with a population of 4500 is designated as a Heritage Town and is attractively located near the sea with the famous Mayo Mountain as an impressive backdrop. It is one of the few planned towns in the country and was designed in the 1700’s by James Wyatt. Among its many outstanding features are the elegant tree-lined streets along the river known as The Mall. Bustling Bridge Street is the main shopping street with cheerful shop fronts and a busy weekly market at the Octagon, the central square. Westport is a unique blend of old and new living memories of a bygone era mingling happily with the lively busy town of today.

CASTLECOURT HOTEL (www.castlecourthotel.ie) is a luxurious 4****hotel located in the heart of Westport town. The Castlecourt Hotel is an excellent choice for rest and rejuvenation. Well known for its charming environment and proximity to many attractions. The spacious rooms at the Castlecourt Hotel, Spa and Leisure all feature TV, and free Wifi. This tour starts with pickups from mid-Ulster on Monday morning 30th September then into Belfast at 8.30am and onward to Dungannon for a comfort and coffee break at Linen Green Moygashel before heading west to Enniskillen for lunch. Next it’s Sligo and an afternoon comfort and tea break at Callooney expecting to reach our hotel by late afternoon. Our homeward route on Friday 4th October returns everyone to their set-down point reaching Belfast 9pm app. During this holiday evening fellowship times and fun will be a regular feature, however we respect the wishes of everyone who are free to choose to join in or do their own thing.
