Yorkshire is home to the UK’s largest National Park. Explore the diversity of the county from its ancient cities to breath-taking dales scenery, pretty villages, high fells, and ancient ruins. The tour includes a nostalgic train ride and relaxing canal cruise with afternoon tea.

Tuesday Harrogate & Harewood House
Morning Free to explore Harrogate, with its Valley Gardens, tree lined avenues, parks, Victorian arcades and myriad of boutiques and tearooms. Nearby is magnificent Harewood House “The Jewel in Yorkshire’s Crown”, with entrance to both the house, majestic staterooms and the 100 acres of glorious gardens.

Wednesday Yorkshire Dales and Steam Train
Enjoy a scenic tour through the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, passing picturesque villages such as Grassington and Kettlewell, castles, waterfalls with “wall to wall” scenery all the way. Enjoy a stop at Aysgarth Falls, before boarding the remarkable Wensleydale steam railway at Leyburn for 14 miles of glorious scenery to Leeming Bar, before returning to your hotel via Masham and Ripon.

Thursday Skipton & Bronte Country
Lovingly known as the “Gateway to the Dales” Skipton is a beautiful market town full of Yorkshire character. From its castle, its canal, and its traditional cobbled streets it has plenty to offer any visitor. After free time exploring, enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Leeds and Liverpool canal accompanied by a sumptuous afternoon tea. Afterwards travel to Howarth, home to the Bronte family and where the Bronte’s wrote most of their famous works including “Wuthering Heights” and “Jane Eyre”.

This tour begins with coach pick-ups from mid-Ulster to Belfast on Monday 29th July for the 7.30am Stena sailing to Cairnryan and onward by coach with comfort and meal stops enroute, expecting to arrive the Majestic Hotel Harrogate in time to freshen up before dinner. We return home on Friday 2nd August on the 7.30pm Stena sailing from Cairnryan, due in Belfast 9.45pm followed by JMB coach transfer to your set-down point in Northern Ireland.
